Stabilised Chlorine Granules

Stabilised chlorine granules such as these are used for the disinfection of swimming pool water.They are completely soluble and have little effect on pH.

This product is formulated with a stabiliser to protect against the loss of chlorine in sunlight, and these granules are ideal for daily chlorination - especially in outdoor pools. As a guide - dose a pool at the rate of 125g to 100 m3 (2 oz to 10,000 gallons).

A pool's chlorine requirement depends upon a range of factors including water temperature, sunlight, bather loads and air movement over the surface. Test the chlorine content of the pool and adjust the quantity of granules added, to maintain a free chlorine residual of no less than 2mg/litre (same as 2ppm).

Chlorine - Large Tablets 200g

Champion Trichlor Tablets are slow dissolving and have been formulated especially for chlorinating private and small commercial pools such as in hotels.

Add one tablet to 70 m3 (15,000 gallons) of water, by placing it in a skimmer basket where it will dissolve slowly. Check the chlorine contents of the water and adjust as necessary, taking account of bather numbers, sunlight, water temperature and breezes or ventilation levels.

Chlorine - Mini Tablets 20g

Champion Trichlor Mini Tablets dissolve slowly and are specially designed for chlorinating private and smaller pools. As a guide, add one tablet for each 1,000 gallons (5 m3) of water, by placing them in a skimmer basket. Regularly test the chlorine contents of the pool and adjust the dose as necessary.

Chlorine Shock granules

Chlorine Shock Granules provide a convenient method of shock dosing swimming pools, and are particularly useful for the daily chlorination of pools in soft water areas. As a guidleine, add at the rate of 125g to 100 m3 (2 oz to 10,000 gallons) by stirring into a bucket of warm water to help granules to dissolve fully - and test the water and adjust dosage rates as necessary.

Chlorine Shock Granules do need enough time to be evenly distributed around your pool, and this depends upon the pool volume and the filtration rate. The free chlorine content of a pool depends upon a range of factors, particularly the bather loads, water temperature, exposure to sunlight and breezes, which carry away the gas to atmosphere. Chlorine works best as a disinfectant when the pH is kept in the range 7.2 to 7.8.

Multi-Functional Tablets 200g

Champion Multi-Functional Tablets are a slow dissolving chlorine compound, made to an excellnt formula, with an algicide and a flocculant for use in private and public pools.

These are designed to be used at the rate of 2 to 50 m3 (11,000 gallons) of pool water, simply by placing them in the skimmer basket.

See how these work! The chlorine compond is a high quality stabilised chlorine to resist the effects of strong sunlight. They are formulated with an algicide to prevent algae growth, and blended with a flocculant to condition the filter media so that it produces a high quality of filtrate, and the pool water should really sparkle.

You simply pop enough of these in a surface skimmer basket, and the tablets dissolve slowly to give effective treatment over several days. This can also be helpful if you are going away for a few days. These work far better better than a standard 'large chlorine tablet', and can really help you to make your pool look fabulous.
