**Good hygiene standards in all pool areas are important!

Oils and bodyfats can harbour bacteria and look unsightly too!**

Detergents and cleaning agents should be used sparingly, to avoid upsetting the chemical balance of the water. Cleaning creams and powders should be of the non-scouring types - particularly if used on the printed surface of a pool liner - as this can wear through!

Debris such as leaves, grass and bugs all consume chemicals, and eventually sink to the bottom where they decompose and stain the pool. Each day, remove floating debris with a net, and dirt on the pool floor with a suction cleaner - and the water can look fabulous and use less sanitiser!
