Champion Bromine Tablets

Bromine is a powerful sanitiser! It is a sister chemical in a group of four - called halogens. The others you know as - chlorine, fluorine and iodine.

Bromine in swimming pool use is found by some people to have a less drying, less irritating effect on the skin than chlorine - it is all a matter of your preference. Elemental bromine disinfects in a similar way to chlorine, though it smells different - more like seaweed, which some may prefer to that of chlorine.

Champion Bromine tablets are Bromo-Chloro-Dimethyl-Hydantoin, and the bromine residual of 2 to 4 mg/l (2 - 4 ppm) should be maintained in domestic pools and spas.
