Blowers & Pumps - ITT
We have a wide range of Hydroair pumps and blowers for hot tubs and whirl-pool baths.
Current pumps models are the HA 350, 430, 440, 450 and 460 series.
Blowers are from the Perseus and Genesis ranges for whirlpool baths and hot tubs. Do ask us to e-mail you a leaflet showing the specifications of any of these.
Many years ago the ITT Corporation bought Marlow Pumps in the UK, and ITT Hydroair made superb pumps and blowers, with the Argonaut pumps closely following the design of the very successful Marlow pumps.
In March 2009 the ITT Corporation sold its Hydroair operation to Balboa of the USA, and is now known as Hydroair International. This adds great strength and expertise to the whole group, to develop high quality products for their target markets, with service and support.
The family of Genesis pumps was superseded around 2003, being replaced by new designs such as the 350,430,440,450 and 460 models. The motor sizes on Genesis pumps ranged from 0.5HP through to 1.5HP, depending upon their function.
We can tell much about your pump from its model number - usually on a plate on the pump (or 'wet end'). Do not be confused by the motor itself, which carries its own numbers from the motor manufacturer before being supplied to Hydroair.
If you can simply e-mail us your existing pump numbers, we'd be pleased to check this out for you. If the pump is a Genesis for example, it might begin with the letters GC, or GD or GXD, followed by letters and numbers to show motor sizes, switch types and function. This information should be on the silver label on the pump body - the numbers on the motor are generally from the motor manufacturer.
In case your pump model has different pipe unions to the current fitment, we supply new unions, connectors, pipe and cement with all pumps - to make your installation as easy as possible. If you'd like us to e-mail you some information and a leaflet about the pump that we propose as the replacement for your - just e-mail us on info@swimfix.co.uk.
Please don't forget those pump numbers - they tell us much more than the make or model of hot tub.
