Baquacil

Baquacil is a polymeric biguanide swimming pool bactericide.

Baquacil is a non-chlorine sanitiser that has proven over many years to be very popular with owners of private pools that are not heavily used. Standard pH balance chemicals can be used with Baquacil, but Baquacheck is the only compatible algaecide for this system.

Baquacil is packed and supplied in boxes of 4 x 3 litres, and we can only ship it by carrier in multiples of this quantity.

Baquacil Shock

Baquacil Shock is a hydrogen peroxide based clarifier that is compatible with Baquacil.

Baquashock works in conjunction with the Baquacil, and as a peroxide based compound it acts quickly to get your pool back into condition.

It is packed and supplied in boxes of four x 3 litres.

Baquacil Algaecide.

Baquacil Algaecide is the only algaecide to use with Baquacil!

Baquacil Algaecide operates in combination with Baquacil in a swimming pool to control algae, and it is important that there is an adequate level of Baquacil in the water to support the Baquacheck.

Check also that the circulation pump is operating for long enough each day, that the filter does not need backwashing, has a clean strainer box, and that there is no other debris such as leaves in the pool to absorb the Baquacil!

Baquacil ALgaecide is supplied in a box of six x one litre bottles.

Baquacil Clarifier.

Baquacil Liquid Clarifier is the flocculant for use with the Baquacil system.

A flocculant added to your pool creates a floc (which is a gel, or coagulant) in the sand bed, and this traps smaller particles than the sand grains themselves. Baquacil Clarifier produces water that is clearer and crisper in appearance - it should really sparkle in the sunlight!

If your pool water looks hazy and lifeless - use a flocculant after each backwash to enhance the sand bed and produce lasting results within a day or two!

Baquacil Clarifier is packed and shipped boxes of 4 x 3 litres.

Baquafloc tablets.

Baquafloc tablets are the solid alternative flocculant for use with the Baquacil system.

Baquafloc is best added to swimming pool water after each filter backwash. It conditions the sand media by creating a coagulant gel that reduces the size of the particles that are trapped in a filter bed. This in turn produces a better quality of filtrate.

Baquafloc is supplied in 1kg packs, with 12 packs in boxes at the list price of ?101.00. Do call us if you'd like to use a flocculant in your Baquacil pool!

Revacil

Revacil is a polymeric biguanide pool water treatment made by Mareva, and it is of a similar strength to Baquacil.

Revacil is a powerful bactericide, but if you wish to add a shock treatment to help it to restore water quality - the product to use is Revatop, which is a powerful hydrogen peroxide treatment. Revatop is the algicide that is compatible with Revacil.

If you prefer a non-chlorine bactericide to keep your pool water safe for swimming - then this could be for you! It is packed in boxes of 4 x 5 litres, at a list price of £298 plus delivery.

Revatop.

Revatop is the Hydrogen Peroxide shock treatment to use with Revacil in swimming pool water.

Use Revatop to support the Revacil and quickly restore the condition of the water!

We can only send this by road carrier,in the standard box of four x 5 litre bottles.

Revablue

Revablue is the algicide that is compatible with Revacil, a polymeric biguanide designed for the disinfection of swimming pool water.

Revablue is effective when the Revacil residual in the pool is within the correct range, as this algicide needs to work together with Revacil kill bacteria.

Revablue is packed and supplied in boxes of 6 x 1 litre bottles, and due to the carriage regulations for hazardous chemicals we can only send it by carrier in its own marked boxes, containing six bottles .

Revacil Test Strips

This tester set uses strips that you simply dip into the pool water and wait for a few seconds to read.

Checking your pool water quality helps to keep it sparkling and safe for swimming.
