Champion Filter Floc Tablets

Champion Filter Floc Tablets are supplied in 750g tubs for easy use. Simply pop these into a weir basket or strainer after each backwash of a sand filter. On dissolving in water, the aluminium sulphate forms a flocculant or coagulant in the sand bed, which traps much finer particles than the sand bed can by itself.

Quick steps to better water: - carry out a thorough backwash of the sand filter, check and adjust the pH so that it is not higher than 7.4, then make sure that there is enough bactericide in the water to last until you next test it. Place the appropriate number of tablets in a skimmer basket or strainer box and run the circulation pump for at least 24 hours.

The water should become steadily clearer as the filter removes cloudiness and adds a real sparkle! Maintain adequate bactericide levels until the next backwash is due, and then take the same steps as above.

Champion Granular Flocculant

Flocculant added to filter media after a backwash, helps to condition a sand filter bed so that it produces clearer water. Champion flocculant contains aluminium sulphate which mixes with water to make a gel, lying in the top region of the sand bed in a filter. This enables the filter to trap smaller particles, thereby producing much clearer water!

For best results - start with a thorough backwash of the sand filter, check the pH and correct it as necessary so that it is not above 7.4, check that the pool contains enough bactericide to last until you next plan to test the water, and after 24 hours you should see a real improvement!

The water should look sharp and crisp, with no lather, bubbles or cloudiness forming at all. This simple, cheap chemical additive can make pool water look attractive and invigorating, and a tub of granular floc goes a long way!

Champion Pool Clarifer

Champion Pool clarifier is a liquid, to be added to a pool to help to remove cloudiness and produce clearer water.

Liquid Clarifier works by conditioning the sand in a filter, removing smaller particles and producing a finer quality of filtrate. Used in conjunction with adequate levels of your bactericide (e.g.chlorine or bromine) - it removes cloudiness to give the water a real sparkle!
