Chlorine Stabiliser
Champion Chlorine Stabiliser
Champion Chlorine stabiliser is a cyanuric acid compound. It should be added at the rate of 3kg to 100 cubic metres of water (same ratio as 3lbs to 10,000 gallons), ideally to condition a pool at the start of the season.
Chloroisocyanurates, when added to pool water, provide a reserve of free residual chlorine which is potentially as effective as chlorine.
Chlorine stabiliser helps when used with other chlorine compounds which it supports - particularly in outdoor pools, where it helps to stabilise the free chlorine in strong sunlight, slowing down its loss to atmosphere.
